In the heart of Amboseli National Park, a courageous group of Maasai women rangers known as Team Lioness are redefining conservation and security in their community. Armed not with weapons, but with notebooks, pens, GPS monitors, and binoculars, these women patrol the fragile ecosystem, confronting poaching, bush meat trade, and wildlife trafficking. Their efforts are not only protecting endangered species but also safeguarding natural resources that local communities depend on.
Eyes in The Sky
The Ruaha-Katavi landscape is one of eastern Africa’s most important wilderness areas vast, remote and home to extraordinary wildlife. Eyes in the Sky follows aerial conservation work across this landscape, showing how teams use aircraft, cameras and field surveys to monitor wildlife populations, understand movement patterns and identify threats across areas that are difficult to reach from the ground.
